Helen drove around Australia in a van, competed in rollerskating at a state level, headbutted a seagull, and fell over a 1kg block of cheese, but not all in the same trip.
To improve her presentation skills,
Helen even became a Tupperware salesperson.
Her big break into advertising came when her ECD went on leave and Helen relocated her computer from the design department to his desk.
For the next 6 weeks her daily, unsanctioned 'acting ECD' all-staff emails boosted morale by 400%, proving that women of colour make great leaders!
Before advertising Alex drove a recycling truck, made so-so coffees, wrote for blogs,
and was a door-to-door salesperson.
Alex wrote a song that featured on high rotation on Irish college radio.
He’s DJed at the Western Australian Ballet, inside A’DAM Tower, and while balancing through a makeshift hole cutout of a rusty station wagon and didn’t require a tetanus booster after the gig.
Together we’ve dodged snakes while hiking in Cyprus, slid backwards in our car down an icy road in the Isle of Skye, and intentionally ate raw chicken in Japan (we can confirm it was delicious.)
